Hello and hwangyong-hamnida, or welcome, to the community of expats in South Korea!
As a truly global community, dedicated to the task of helping expats worldwide settle into their new homes, Inter Nations offers you the security and assurances you need before setting off on your new life in South Korea.
In my everyday life, I talk about these feelings quite a lot.
But Wee Gypsy Girl keeps them on mute, focussing instead on the best bits.
Whether they live in Australia or United States of America, Inter Nations allows you to be close to them even if they are miles away.
You will miss Korea when you’re gone so make the most of your time there and don’t indulge yourself in my petty moans!
I’ve wanted to write this post for quite a while now, but I always put it off. I didn’t want to put people off visiting Korea, or living here.
Although I try to keep my blog as transparent as possible, I know that there are a lot of feelings that I have about Korea that I keep to myself.
From day trips to local beaches and Korean movie nights (Korean cinema is famed worldwide for its daring and innovative approach to movie making) to wine tasting and singles nights, there's something for the expat of every persuasion in Inter Nations' community of expats in South Korea; if you can tear yourself away from your smartphone or latest computer game, that is.
Update: I’ve noticed that this ranty post gets a lot of eyes on it and I know that it’s not much comfort to anyone who’s having a terrible time in Korea.
