Blog 40 days of dating

Does the expiration date make a real relationship impossible.

Walsh and Sagmeister collaborated on Six Things: We were waiting in line for egg sandwiches at a deli in JFK en route to Art Basel when Tim mentioned an idea he had for a dating project. We generally tend to work with hand drawn markers or dahing to illustrate the work, and then scan the drawings and manipulate them digitally.

And no stone in their relationship is left unturned.

Here is the thing while I am giving this book 4 out of 5 stars.

The site was executed very closely to the submitted designs.

Two friends who dated for 40 days as a social experiment have revealed that they broke up on the very last day.

The premise went viral, and soon the two single designers who conducted the experiment, Timothy Goodman and Jessica Walsh, were appearing everywhere.

Eighteen months later, and the pair are back, with a book about their experiment, and the aftermath.

Now, I have to admit, two summers ago, I tried to get into 40 Days. Maybe it wasn’t the right time for me to engage with 40 Days.

I’m not normally one to hipster-bash, but at times the preaching was beyond extreme.

I have friends from all backgrounds, and with all kinds of attitudes to life, and yet I found it hard to relate to Jessie in any way.

  1. Back in the summer of 2013, mine wasn't the only dating blog making headlines, and 40 Days of Dating was making far more headlines than 30 Dates! Over in New York.

  2. I am dating a respectable, hard working man who would do anything to make me smile. I am dating a man who helps me buy groceries, wash laundry, and clean my apartment.
